NZ Wood is a major promotional and development programme to promote New Zealand forests and wood resources to improve our economy, society and our whole way of life. It was launched in 2008.
Competenz is one of New Zealand’s industry training organisations. We work with more than 3,500 companies and 20,000 learners in 36 industries around New Zealand each year to build skills, careers and businesses. Most learning takes place on-the-job.
The Forest Growers Levy Trust Inc (FGLT) is an incorporated society. Its members have been drawn from a cross-section of the forest growing industry in order to achieve incorporation.
The New Zealand Forest Owners Association (FOA) represents the owners of New Zealand’s commercial plantation forests. The association and its members are committed to the highest standards of sustainable silviculture, environmental practice and workforce safety.

Women in Wood (WIW) was created to bring together passionate women from across Canada to share their love for the woods. Whether you work in the woods, with wood, or for the woods, WIW provides a networking opportunity to help you find mentors, seek career advice, or meet other passionate women.
FISC has been established in response to the Independent Forestry Safety Review (IFSR). The council is an exciting prospect; the first true tri-partite industry lead body in New Zealand with the mandate to work in collaboration across the full plantation forestry sector, representing one voice in health and safety.
